what is soffit?
Soffit is the finished underside of a roof’s overhang. It literally means “something fixed underneath”.
Aside from giving your project a finished look, soffit’s primary function is to provide ventilation to your roof and attic space.
Traditionally, soffit is made from vinyl, aluminum, or even wood, but we have again changed the game by manufacturing it in metal.
