Do yourself a favor - Cover your house with our metal board & batten and be the envy of the block.
It’s awesome, just do it okay?
What is board & batten?
Traditionally, it’s a panel made from wood or plastic that alternates between a wide board and narrow strip.
It was inspired by Nordic European buildings and gained popularity in the U.S.A. during the mid 19th century.
Its incredibly aesthetic and can be used side entire buildings or for accenting the gable ends.
Either way, it’s a great design style to “modernize” the exterior of your project.
Some things to note.

What we recommend
At the end of day, you should go with whatever colors and sizes you like the best.
BUT…
If you are asking our opinion, here is what we have found to achieve the best results:
Go with crinkle finish paint
Simply put, it just looks better.
Choose the 13” profile
The wider profile has a more traditional batten look.
Keep your lengths to 12ft or less
You can go longer, but “oil canning” becomes more
prevalent.
Ask for striations
They are barely noticeable, but they significantly reduce oil canning.
